The equipment can create almost any size – from a small brochure box to a sofa pack.
One pass on the equipment can make one or more boxes. Each pass can take from 5 to 15 seconds depending on the size and complexity of the finished box.
Standard C, B and B/C flute is available direct from our manufacturing facility. If other more non-standard materials such as E or A flute are necessary – we have the ability to source at other facilities throughout the USA and Canada.
We view each company’s integration need as an independent project defined by specific customer requirements. Our system has 6 standard interfaces from which to transmit or receive input/output information for operation. If these are not appropriate we have the ability to customize for a wide range of protocols.
There are many configurations available for different applications and environments. Basic systems can run in a 400 square foot area others require more space. In general the more raw material sources available to the equipment via a multi-feeding system the larger footprint needed.
Scrap rates vary based on the overall mix of sizes and pool of available raw material sizes. In general customers should achieve 85-95% yield on their raw material.
One person can operate the machine. In most packing areas the machine is operated by the same group of packing personnel that previously packed product manually.
Our equipment has a proven track-record of high availability – in most cases greater than 99% uptime. Issues that do occur are usually easy to fix, and any part that may need to be repaired or replaced is ready to ship in our parts warehouse or provided on-site with installation.
No specific technical knowledge is necessary to operate the equipment. The machine operator interfaces are designed for ease of use and simplicity.
Based on past usage we help you perform a cost savings analysis. Basic cost parameters such as the gross savings on material, space, time, and labor are quantified during our analysis sessions.
If it is a fit – you should be saving at least 20%. But, many customers have saved well over this level.
